The Service Team Coordinator handles inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, supporting better patient health, and assisting across all ChenMed entities by helping with key business functions and serving patients according to corporate policies and regulations. This role may require in-office presence when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls related to patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries based on the ChenMed care model.
  3. Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
  4. Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  5. Document interactions using web-based technology.
  6. Maintain business relationships by providing prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty.
  7. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service and patient interactions.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with proactive solutions
  • Ability to operate in a demanding environment
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% regionally and nationally
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills in Spanish, Creole, or Vietnamese are a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems
