Job Description Summary

This role involves overseeing and performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the community's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities

1. Manage work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following safety standards and codes.
2. Oversee and complete the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, scheduling, and ensuring quality work.
3. Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of community areas to reflect high quality and standards.
4. Inspect work by team members and contractors, developing corrective actions as needed.
5. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ordering as necessary within budget.
6. Perform monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in policies.
7. Support cost-control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
8. Conduct safety meetings, ensure OSHA compliance, and keep safety documentation up to date.
9. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and respectfully to residents and team inquiries.
