Job summary

Paychex in Rochester, NY, is seeking a customer service professional to handle diverse client inquiries and requests via phone, email, chat, and other channels. You will follow SLA guidelines, document interactions, and mentor newer teammates while maintaining organized data input and process improvements.

• Demonstrates intermediate skill level with systems and software packages, which may include HRIS, Salesforce, Flex, Core Advanced, and ORS
• Documents all interactions
• Serves as a mentor for less experienced teammates
• Performs data input, maintaining strong prioritization and organization

Overview

Under a moderate level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for one or more Paychex products. Uses prescribed guidelines to ensure good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with Paychex policies and procedures. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $22.02/hr. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
