Responsibilities

  • Establish effective relationships with patients and families.

  • Perform initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.
  • Log customer visits and follow-ups.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed.

  • Position: Service Specialist II
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. Some on-call weekends and evenings required.
THE POSITION

Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.

Schedules and makes deliveries to patients’ homes in a timely manner.

Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.

Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.

Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups.

Coordinates regular maintenance service to company vehicles.

Assists with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed.

Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.

QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify you must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and one to two years of work experience, preferably in a customer service-related role. The qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. Warehouse and/or driving experience in the area is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DME/Home Health or other related experience is preferred.
