Job summary

Laundrylux Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in Cincinnati, Iowa. This position will involve servicing and repairing commercial laundry equipment while maintaining high standards of customer service.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to excellence, and at least 1 year of experience in commercial equipment repair. We also offer health benefits, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for career advancement.

Field Service Technician
What we are looking for:

The Field Service Technician obtains orders for sales and service contracts by performing meet and greets with laundromat owners. They also service and repair laundry equipment in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with Laundrylux established standards and procedures.

Territory:
  • Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky
What you will do:
  • Perform all service support as well as upsells and sells service contracts to locations.
  • Provide all Wascomat / Electrolux warranty labor.
  • Offer installation/parts support when needed.
  • Addresses all service and parts calls, customer support role.
  • Coordinates and schedules service calls for team and customers.
  • Supports team in project manager role when needed on laundromat projects.
  • Canvases markets and drops off mailers.
  • Drive the sale of Preventative Maintenance and Service Plans.
  • Recommend measures to improve service methods, equipment performance, and quality of service.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Maintain time and service records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist with helping key accounts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
What you should have:

  • Valid Driver’s License

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in installation and repair of commercial equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.
  • Ability to operate equipment, i.e., forklift, pallet jack, lift gate.

Travel Required:

  • Frequent travel to customer locations.
  • Overnight travel on occasions
