Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Service Sales Representative to drive sales of fire protection products, systems, and services in the Wilmington, NC area. You will survey customers, quote proposals, and sell a range of life safety offerings while coordinating with the service department for scheduling and delivery.

Base salary plus commissions, with earnings enhanced by meeting or exceeding sales goals.

What You’ll Do

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Close sufficient sales to an assigned sales goal.
• Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.

Our Service Sales Representatives earn a combination of base salary and sales commissions. Exceeding sales goals can have a huge impact on total earnings! The salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the pay range. The pay range does not include the value of employee benefits.
