Job summary

AVI Foodsystems seeks a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver in Mansfield, OH. The role starts early each weekday (4am) with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Primary duties include loading vehicles, delivering to client locations, stocking shelves, and ensuring cold items remain properly refrigerated throughout routes. Requirements include a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.

• Oversee merchandise ordering and inventory control.
• Communicate positively with customers and staff.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of the company vehicle.
• Collect money from machines as needed.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver in Mansfield, OH. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with a 4am start time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
