Job summary

Oil & Gas Rig Hands - Service Rig - Waskom, TX

Fortis Energy Services, Inc. is seeking Rig Hands to join their service rig crew in Waskom, Texas. These individuals will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to servicing oil and gas wells, including both Floor Hand and Derrick Hand duties. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, physically capable, and eager to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment with opportunities for advancement.

What You’ll Need

• Workover rig experience
• Customer service-oriented approach
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Preferred: Safeland/PEC, valid driver license, CDL, Well Control School, H2S, Forklift/Manlift, CPR/1st Aid, and other heavy equipment licenses or certifications
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs, and perform frequent standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to work outside 90% of the time and in various weather conditions
• Manual and finger dexterity, hand/grip strength, and depth perception
• Ability to safely perform all essential job functions in compliance with regulations
• Use of required safety equipment (goggles, face shields, hard hats, FR clothing, gloves, ear plugs, steel-toed boots, Tyvek suits, SCBA, H2S monitors, fall protection)
