Retrofit Service Tech Positions And Responsibilities

Service Retrofit Tech I – A level I Tech should have 1‑3 years of field experience. A Tech I is qualified and able to conduct basic installs and repairs in the field but is not considered proficient enough to work unsupervised. A Tech I will assist in the supervision and installation of DX Split Systems, above‑ceiling unit replacements, and rooftop replacements.

Service Retrofit Tech II – A level II Tech should have 3+ years of field experience. A Tech II is qualified and able to conduct installs and repairs in the field and is proficient enough to work unsupervised. A Tech II will assist in the supervision and installation of DX Split Systems, above‑ceiling unit replacements, and rooftop replacements.

Service Retrofit Tech III – A level III Tech should have 5+ years of field experience. A Tech III is qualified and able to conduct installs and repairs in the field and is proficient enough to work unsupervised. A Tech III will assist in the supervision and installation of DX Split Systems, above‑ceiling unit replacements, and rooftop replacements. A Tech III will continually enforce safety to the highest standards and be able to mentor junior team members.
