Benefis Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant/EMT-Basic/Surgical Tech to provide ambulation, transfer/transport, and lift-assist for patients. The role involves timely communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and documenting care per hospital policy.

Applicants should hold MT certs (Nursing Assistant/EMT-Basic/Surgical Tech) with CNA/EMT experience preferred and BLS certification preferred or obtainable after hire; a valid MT driver's license is also preferred.

Formación

• Current Nursing Assistant, EMT-Basic, or Surgical Tech Certification in the State of Montana required.
• Prior CNA/ EMT experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification by American Heart Association, preferred (able to acquire upon hiring)
• Current/ Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ambulation, transfer/transport, and accommodate lift needs for the patient.
• Communicate with patient, family, and healthcare team; document care according to policy.
• Handle pressure to meet deadlines and work in changing, sometimes stressful situations.

Responsible for providing ambulation, transfer/transport, and accommodating lift needs for the patient. Available via dispatch to transport patient care items and equipment. Communicates in a timely manner with the patient, family, and healthcare team as needed and documents care according to hospital policy/procedure.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Current Nursing Assistant, EMT- Basic, or Surgical Tech Certification in the State of Montana required.
• Prior CNA/ EMT experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification by American Heart Association, preferred (able to acquire upon hiring)
• Current/ Valid driver’s license preferred

$18.64/hourly

Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
