Labcorp in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Courier to support daily pickups and deliveries within a laboratory setting. You will load supplies, handle specimens safely, and drive a company vehicle on a regular weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 12:30pm - 9:00pm).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of courier or route-based delivery experience in a medical or laboratory setting.
• 1+ year handling medical specimens or supporting hospital/lab operations.
• 2+ years using handheld delivery-management devices or routing tools (scanners, GPS routing, dispatch apps).
• Current or prior Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule promptly.
• Deliver daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage daily pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups.
• Assess traffic, routes, and weather conditions as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Lakewood, CO. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Additional Job Standards

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

Pay Range: $18.29-$26.12

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
