Responsibilities

1. Maintain, diagnose, and repair various refrigeration systems, including mechanical and electrical components (self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems).
2. Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment such as walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
3. Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems to identify necessary specifications and repairs.
4. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
5. Collaborate with grocery store managers and store directors.
6. Quote repairs and recommend replacements when necessary.
7. Maintain proper inventory of tools, safety equipment, and van stock.

Skills

1. Good judgment in the use of supplies and materials.
2. Attention to detail and critical thinking for diagnostics and repairs.
3. Professional communication skills.
4. Mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of HVAC/R experience.
2. Availability for on-call work as needed.
3. Ability to pass physical, drug screening, background check, and driving record review.

1. Universal EPA License.

3. 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience.
4. Related education or certification in HVAC and refrigeration.
