Job summary

Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a experienced Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist to authorize upcoming surgeries and liaise with hospitals, patients and clinical staff.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience (orthopaedics preferred), strong multitasking and communication, and proficiency with EMR systems. The compensation range is $20.00–$28.00 per hour for full-time, non-exempt employment.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of previous experience is required (orthopaedics preferred).
• Experience with health information, worker’s comp, motor vehicles, and customer service will be beneficial.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist. As a Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist, you will be responsible for authorizing upcoming surgeries. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain a positive working relationship with the hospitals, patients, and clinical staff. To be successful, you must have a strong ability to multi-task, a strict sense of urgency, be technically savvy, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and consistently display a professional demeanor.

Compensation & Benefits

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $20.00-$28.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, as well as benefits. Eligible full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.
