Job summary

Cenero is seeking a Service Project Manager (Audio-Visual) to lead deployment projects for our AV support services. You will plan, initiate, and manage technology projects, guiding internal and customer teams to meet deadlines, costs, and quality targets.

The role is hybrid from Malvern, PA with a requirement to commute to Malvern at least three days a week. You will oversee budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of client-facing project management experience with AV or IT systems.
  • Experience deploying/control systems and coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate required activities with internal, external resources within Cenero processes.
  • Develop project plan, schedule & milestones.
  • Verify scope and deliverables align with stakeholder requirements and business goals.
  • Manage and monitor all project activities according to plan.
  • Coordinate and distribute project progress updates as required by the plan.
  • Coordinate and schedule all project resources, internal and external.
  • Maintain project records and database information.
  • Ensure compliance with document management control processes.
  • Maintain and manage project financial plan and budget.
  • Review or escalate contract terms as required by business goals.
  • Manage project financial milestones and labor expenses for resources and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate potential change orders and monitor project risks.
  • Monitor activities for potential sales opportunities and ensure documentation accuracy.

Opportunity Summary

The Service Project Manager (Audio-Visual) is a client‑facing role responsible for planning and executing project objectives specific to the deployment of Cenero's Audio‑Visual support services. Plan, initiate, and manage technology projects. Lead and guide the work of internal and customer technical teams. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Location

This is a hybrid position based in our Malvern, PA headquarters. You must be able to commute to Malvern at least 3 days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work within Cenero's project framework to coordinate all aspects of assigned project deliverables
  • Develop project plan, schedule & milestones
  • Verify that scope and deliverables match stakeholder requirements and fit within business goals
  • Manage and monitor all project activities according to plan
  • Coordinate and distribute project progress updates as required in plan
  • Coordinate and schedule all project resources, internal and external
  • Manage and maintain project records, electronic files and database information
  • Ensure compliance with document management control processes
  • Maintain and manage project financial plan and budget
  • Review, approve or escalate contract T&C's as required based on business goals
  • Manage project financial milestones
  • Manage labor expenses for internal resources and subcontractors
  • Coordinate all potential change orders
  • Monitor project activities for potential sales opportunities
  • Manage material deliveries, secure storage, and returns
  • When required, ensure that shipping, delivery and storage documentation is accurate and complete
  • Manage and monitor project risk with escalation as required
  • Ensure compliance with time tracking and financial records
  • Manage acceptance testing, sign off and project close‑out
  • Provide project leadership
  • Assume ownership of project success
  • Act in accordance with Cenero's core values and professionally manage stakeholder expectations
  • Provide positive and effective communications to all stakeholders
  • Participate in project meetings and site work as required by project plan
  • Ensure that all project resources have complete and accurate information required to fulfill their project role
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and are documented within the project quality control process
  • Occasional travel to client sites as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Understanding of construction project management, project management theory, and common scheduling practices
  • Technical understanding audiovisual systems design, configuration, and installation
  • Technical understanding of IT network infrastructure and security
  • Adept with audiovisual best practices for implementation
  • Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and creative thinking to ensure success of objectives
  • Ability to motivate and effectively collaborate with project team members comprised of technical and administrative personnel
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and present professional, client‑facing communication skills
Supervisory Responsibilities

Coordinate required activities with internal, external resources. Manage subcontractors and field personnel through Cenero processes and Operations Management. Does not directly manage personnel.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering field; or three‑to‑five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Experience working with clients, contractors and IT professionals. Experience deploying/integrating control systems and control system programming.
