Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Project Administrator to support the Service Department. The role covers routine project documentation, billing, and closeout of projects under supervision, with collaboration among Admin Team Leader and Area Service Managers to ensure timely delivery.

Framed in a dynamic environment, this position requires accurate recordkeeping, effective communication, and flexibility to support overtime or weekend needs as required by project workload.

Qualifications

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Three (3) plus years of related billing experience and/or training.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Process service agreements in system application.
  • Handle Quoted, T&M processing and invoicing.
  • Meet various billing requirements.
  • Coordinate with team for accurate recording of service costs, time sheets, labor hours, and daily reports.
  • Perform general administrative functions including purchase orders.
  • Generate, interpret, and print assigned reports.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.

Where Is The Work

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Project Administrator supporting our Service Department.

Under direct supervision, the Project Administrator is responsible for routine project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of projects. This position is required to closely interact with the Admin Team Leader, Area Service Managers and assigned service team members to ensure the timely completion of each project.

What You Will Do
  • Focus on processing service agreements in system application.
  • Focus on Quoted, T&M processing and invoicing.
  • Focus on various billing requirements.
  • Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of service costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
  • Responsible for general administrative functions to include purchase orders.
  • Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
  • Communicates effectively with other team members.
What You Will Bring
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school and three (3) plus years of related billing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
  • Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities.
  • Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.

$59,153.33 - $83,090.00
