Job summary

Aruza Pest Control in Greensboro, NC is seeking a motivated Pest Control Technician to create a positive first impression for customers, inspect and treat properties, and educate clients on prevention.

You will follow a daily route, maintain records, adhere to safety regulations, and keep equipment and vehicle clean. A current driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Previous pest control experience preferred.
• Energetic and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor or confined spaces.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR, background check and drug screen.
• Willing to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create our customer's first-impression experience

• Inspect and perform pest control treatments for customers using high-quality and environmentally responsible products
• Educate customers on pest prevention and recommend necessary actions to keep their properties pest-free.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills as you interact with customers, office staff, and service managers
• Follow a daily schedule (route), insuring timely arrival at each account
• Follow all safety protocols and comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control
• Stay up-to-date on the latest pest control techniques, products, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations
• Maintain and clean pest control equipment and company vehicle
• Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
• The ideal candidate will have boundless energy and enthusiasm
