Job summary

Sames Auto Group in Texas is seeking a Service Porter to support the service drive and dealer inventory movement. You will move vehicles between drives and bays, assist detailing, and deliver clean cars to customers after service. Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and lift up to 75 lbs.

Excellent teamwork, bilingual English/Spanish communication, and a valid driver's license are required. A high school diploma and professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to retrieve, load and deliver items up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, including reading and writing and comprehending instructions.
• Possess good customer relations abilities, polite and courteous manner, cooperative attitude, team oriented.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a variety of vehicle types.

Responsibilities

• Move dealer inventory and customer vehicles between drives, bays, and detailing.
• Prepare traded-in or dealer vehicles for service or delivery.
• Provide clean cars to customers after service and shuttle vehicles as needed.
• Assist Service Department staff including advisors, manager, and foreman.
• Promote and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Park and retrieve vehicles for customers upon delivery and drop-off.
• Follow all safety and vehicle handling procedures.
