Cornerstone Auto Group in Elk River, MN is seeking a Part Time Service Porter to support the busy service area. You will greet customers, manage service flow, assist with rental paperwork, and help keep the service drive clean and organized.

No experience is required, on-the-job training is provided, and you’ll work primarily evenings and Saturdays. Candidate should have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a background check and drug screen.

• Greet customers entering the service area and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
• Controls Service traffic flow and parking.
• Records the customers name, VIN, tag number, mileage and existing vehicle damage.
• Assists with rental paperwork and prepares rentals for customers.
• Checks vehicles for items left behind, damage, gas and mileage during returns.
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves and snow.
• Pulls completed vehicles into the service drive after advisor contact.
• Puts away emergency vehicles in the lot and ensures proper order at day end.

Records the customers name, VIN, tag number, mileage and existing vehicle damage· Bag and tag all vehicles (places bag of drivers seat, places mat on the floor and tags vehicle with a number)· Helps customers fill out rental forms, makes a copy of license and insurance to include with the paperwork and prepares rentals for customers· Handles returning rentals by checking vehicle for items that may have been left, check for damage, gas and mileage· Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves and snow· Pulls completed vehicles into the service drive once the advisor has made contact· Check the lot in the evening and pull all emergency vehicles into the shop (squad cards, ambulance, fire etc.)Education and/or Experience:· No experience necessary· On the job training providedQualifications and Requirements:· Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards· Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen· Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written· Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service· Ability to lift 50lbs· Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary· Ability to work evenings until 7pm and SaturdaysOur Values: We value our relationships · We do whats right, whats honest · We aim for excellence · We listen to really understand · We take action · We show respect · We work as teams · We strive to improve, learn · We greet each day with gratitude · We celebrate what we do togetherThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
