Job summary

Mountain States Toyota is hiring an entry-level Service Porter to keep the dealership looking sharp, move vehicles, and assist customers with a friendly, professional approach. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in the automotive industry and offers a clear path for growth within the company.

This full-time position pays $20.00 per hour, with Monday–Saturday shifts and Sundays off. Training is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package supports your development and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (e.g., replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance).
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report any accidents to a manager.

Job Description

The Service Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealership's appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e., Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Physically able to drive and move vehicles
• Ability to work in the elements (outdoors) for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership's professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Required

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.
