Avondale Nissan is hiring a Service Porter to join the Service Department. The role involves greeting customers, preparing vehicles for service, and coordinating with service advisors.

You will help maintain a clean parking area and assist with clerical tasks while supporting the shuttle driver as needed. Applicants should have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Able to work in a fast-paced service environment and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor for the customer and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles when bills are paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot and work area in a neat, organized condition.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with phone calls and general tasks.
• Support Shuttle driver as needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report safety or operational concerns to management.
