Job summary

Avondale Nissan is seeking a Service Porter to support the Service Department. You will greet customers, prep vehicles for service, and help move cars between lanes and parking areas. Training is available for those without dealership experience.

The role requires a clean driving record, a valid license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow within the dealership family.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and eager to assist customers.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to drive and maneuver vehicles safely.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 18 years or older; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor for the customer and notify them.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to the appropriate parking spots.
• Retrieve vehicles when customers pay or per advisor directions.
• Maintain the parking lot and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report safety or security concerns to management.
