Job summary

Southwest Kia in Dallas, TX is seeking a Service Porter for a full-time, on-site position. We require open availability to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods. You will support the service team by greeting customers, staging vehicles, and handling related clerical tasks under the Service Manager’s guidance.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with dealership technology, able to drive various vehicles, and eager to grow within the automotive service environment.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and create welcoming, trusted experiences.
• Comfort with computers and dealership technologies.
• Ability to drive multiple vehicle types and navigate the lot.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats.
• Identify the service advisor with the customer’s appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when paying or as directed.
• Maintain organization of the parking lot and service department work areas.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.

Education
