Come join our team at AutoNation USA Denver Broadway! We have all new equipment in our brand-new shop, which is well-lit and designed with technicians in mind. We do not work Saturdays like franchise stores, and we have no recall work. Our primary customer is the sales department.

The Service Porter is responsible for performing various duties related to vehicle maintenance and service. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
2. Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning the vehicle to the customer
3. Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning, and report any damages immediately
4. Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
5. Perform vehicle deliveries as required
6. Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
7. Maintain the vehicle lot in an organized manner, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership standards
8. Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
9. Pick up and deliver vehicles to storage and the Parts Department
10. Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive
11. Maintain the building and grounds as needed
12. Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when required

The requirements for this role include:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)
3. Ability to read and understand written instructions
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to handle machinery safely
6. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
7. Customer service skills
8. Valid driver’s license
9. Ability to operate an automobile

The average compensation for this position ranges from $14.50 to $19.88 per hour.
