Job summary

Williams Toyota of Sayre in Sayre, PA is seeking an energetic Service Porter to join our TEAM. This role supports the dealership's service operations by keeping vehicles clean, organized, and accessible while assisting the service team and customers.

You will move vehicles, place tags, inspect for safety, greet customers, and perform light duties to help maintain a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle inventory appearance by cleaning interiors and exteriors and replenishing fluids as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly and move cars per supervisor guidance.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and regulatory compliance.
• Greet customers and escort to the appropriate area.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane and parking lot as needed.
• Create key tags for vehicles.
• Transport vehicles off the lot as required while obeying traffic laws.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

This position plays a large role in the leadership of the dealership and will be part of one of the volume sales leaders in the market. • Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and visually inspecting for safety items such as wipers and blades.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Greets customers on the drive and escorts customers to the appropriate area.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Drive vehicles off the lot for transportation and obeys all local and state traffic laws and practices safe driving.
• Other tasks as assigned.
