You will move and stage vehicles, assist with customer pickup and delivery, and help keep the service drive and vehicle areas clean and organized. The role is full-time, with an hourly wage and a schedule that may include Saturdays. Training is available for the right candidate.

Walterboro Ford is hiring a dependable Service Porter to support our service department. You will move and stage vehicles, assist with customer pickup and delivery, and help keep the service drive and vehicle areas clean and organized. We are looking for someone who drives carefully, treats customers well and takes pride in doing the small things right.

What you will do

• Move and park customer, dealership and loaner vehicles safely.
• Support customer pickup and delivery when assigned.
• Help stage vehicles for service, washing and customer delivery.
• Keep service and vehicle staging areas orderly.
• Communicate promptly with the service team about vehicle status or concerns.

What we are looking for

• A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets our insurance requirements.
• A safe, attentive driver with a reliable work ethic.
• A friendly, professional approach with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform routine physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Dealership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Compensation and schedule

$16 per hour, full time, with an expected schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. Work schedule may include Saturdays based on service department needs. Paid semi-monthly on the 3rd and 18th. Overtime is paid as required by law. Benefits and leave are governed by dealership policy and the employee handbook.
