Job summary

South Texas Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to support the service department operations. The role involves interacting with customers, technicians, and service staff to ensure smooth vehicle flow and service delivery.

Responsibilities include moving vehicles from intake to storage and performing other duties as assigned, with an emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and a positive, client-friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operator Driver's License (must be insurable and ability to drive a standard transmission).
• People skills and a genuine desire to service the client; positive attitude and willingness to be a team member.

Service Porter

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of theservice department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Associates, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few.
