Job summary

Jim Shorkey Auto Group is seeking a Full Time Service Porter to move vehicles between the display area, workshop, storage, and pickup points. You will drive cars, prevent damage, and protect dealership property while keeping the lot tidy and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include accounting for all cars on the lot, maintaining cleanliness, and running dealership errands as needed, with basic maintenance tasks performed as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of car maintenance is advantageous.
• Able to assume responsibility for valuable customer and dealership property.
• Willingness to learn and perform a wide range of tasks.
• Ability to take accurate notes about vehicle movements and conditions.

• Moving cars between the dealership’s display area, workshop, storage facility, and the pick-up point.
• Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property at all times.
• Accounting for all cars on the lot.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of cars on the lot.
• Providing assistance with keeping the lot clean and tidy at all times.
• Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks.

Requirements
