Job summary

Murdock Auto Team is seeking a dependable Service Department Porter to join our service team. This entry-level role involves greeting customers, moving vehicles, keeping areas clean, and supporting advisors and technicians. You will help prepare vehicles for delivery and maintain inventory appearance, in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized workplace.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Moving customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the service drive and lot.
• Keeping the service drive, customer lounge, and parking areas clean and organized.
• Assisting Service Advisors and Technicians with daily operational needs.
• Washing, vacuuming, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery as needed.
• Maintaining the appearance of the dealership's inventory and service lot.
• Shuttling customers or picking up/delivering vehicles when authorized.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support the Service Department.

What You'll Do
