Charlie Clark Auto Group in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Service Porter to support the service department. Responsibilities include transporting customers and vehicles, moving cars for production, and keeping areas clean and organized.

The role requires attention to safety and regulatory compliance within the service environment. Education required is a high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years related experience preferred.

• Valid Texas driver’s license with ability to insure and drive a standard transmission.

Responsabilidades

• Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers as directed.
• Move vehicles inside and outside of service to meet production standards.
• Keep service areas neat; remove trash and discarded parts; maintain appearance.
• Maintain other areas of the service department, including offices.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.

Service Porter

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of a service department. This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Associates, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick up from and deliver customers to desired locations
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers as directed
• Move vehicles inside and outside of service to help achieve production standards
• Maintain a neat and orderly service areas by sweeping, removal of trash and discarded parts as well as other actions required to maintain the overall appearance
• Maintain other areas of the service department such as the offices
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Texas Driver's License (must be insurable and ability to drive a standard transmission).
