Job summary

The Randy Wise Automotive Team in Fenton, MI is seeking a friendly Service Porter to welcome guests and help manage vehicle flow in the service center. You will be on your feet, assisting with intake, guiding cars between the drive and workshop, and keeping the area clean and organized to create a positive guest experience.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions. No prior automotive experience is required, but helpful.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Automotive or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the service center and assist with vehicle intake.
• Move customer vehicles safely between the service drive, parking lot, and workshop bays.
• Keep our service drive clear and organized to ensure smooth traffic flow for our guests.
• Assist the service team with basic tasks such as retrieving documents or supplies.
• Ensure that all vehicles are parked neatly and securely while they await service.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
