Job summary

HGreg in California is seeking an energetic Service Porter to support the service lot by ensuring vehicle appearance quality before delivery to customers and to gain insight into the service department. DUTIES include greeting customers, inspecting for prior damage, parking or pulling vehicles from wash, assisting with washing, and keeping the service area clean.

Must be 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., and have a valid California driver's license.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid California driver license.
• Standing and walking for extended periods is required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all customers promptly and professionally.
• Inspect vehicles for any prior damage and document accordingly.
• Park vehicles or pull up vehicles from wash.
• Assist in washing cars when necessary.
• Clean shop, service lobby, and service drive.
• Make key tags.

POSITION SUMMARY:

HGreg is looking for an energetic, customer service oriented, and outgoing service lot attendant. Our service lot attendants play a role in ensuring truly exceptional service by quality checking the vehicle appearance prior to delivering the vehicle to the customer. This position allows for growth opportunities as a service technician or other areas of the dealership as it will provide insight into the moving parts of the service department.
