Job summary

Creative MultiCare in Jacksonville, FL is seeking enthusiastic service plumbers to join our team. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance on plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites.

We offer full-time employment with weekly pay, comprehensive insurance options, retirement with company match, PTO and holidays, and on-the-job training to support your growth. Monday-Friday with weekend/on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior plumbing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with safe use of power/hand tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service with active listening.
• Ability to handle physical demands of field work.
• Willingness to work a Monday-Friday schedule with weekend/on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, installation, and inspection of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and educate customers on findings and options.
• Repair and install plumbing systems, including repipes and slab work.
• Conduct inspections with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Respond swiftly to plumbing emergencies and maintain professional client relations.
• Document quotes, invoices, and work performed with precision.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

What Skills You’ll Master:

• Performing regular maintenance, installation, and inspection of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
• Diagnosing both common and uncommon plumbing problems and effectively educating customers on your findings and solution options
• Performing plumbing repairs and installations, including repipes and slab jobs
• Executing plumbing inspections with keen attention to detail
• Responding to plumbing emergencies swiftly and steadily
• Upholding and complying with quality, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
• Fostering and building lasting relationships with customers through outstanding service
• Documenting all quotes, invoices, and work performed with in-depth precision
• Communicating professionally and conscientiously in all customer and team interactions

What You’ll Need:

• Prior plumbing experience
• Demonstrate necessary mechanical aptitude including the ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on active listening
• Acknowledged ability to meet physical and environmental demands of position
• Friendly demeanor with a positive go-getter personality
• Follow written and verbal directions effectively
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability in the field
• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting and courteously interacting with a variety of personalities
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• Availability to work Monday-Friday with a mandatory weekend and overnight on-call rotation
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking
• Ability to perform all necessary physical aspects of the job, including, but not limited to, lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and carrying at least 60 pounds; standing, kneeling, and crawling for extending periods of time; and working in a variety of environments including exposure to heat, cold, rain, dust, sewage, rodents/pests, small/tight spaces, and heights
• At least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes, unless an exception applies)
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience and satisfactory driving record
• Capability to pass background check and drug screening
