Southern Home Services is seeking a dynamic Service Plumber to join a growing team. You will handle a range of residential plumbing tasks, including troubleshooting, installing and repairing plumbing systems, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in compliance with local codes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, installing components, testing for leaks, and coordinating with homeowners. A Journeyman license or equivalents plus strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and specs.
• Experience with water, gas and sewage systems and local codes.
• Proficient with pipe cutters, threaders and soldering tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and safety focus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness for flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine repairs or replacements.
• Install, assemble and repair water, gas and sewage systems.
• Test for leaks; ensure safety and code compliance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems.
• Manage inventory of supplies in the vehicle; track receipts.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
• Uphold safety protocols and provide customer-ready service.
• Lead apprentices and coordinate with team on larger projects.
