Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, faulty fixtures, and water heater problems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems such as piping, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems.
  • Work with HVAC technicians when plumbing is integrated with heating and cooling systems.
  • Provide clear, courteous communication to customers regarding the scope of work, time estimates, and any required follow-ups.
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports.
  • Keep company vehicle stocked, organized, and clean.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls, as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship.
  • Valid plumbing license (state-specific requirements).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of plumbing experience, ideally in service and repair.
  • Experience working in coordination with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, outdoor/indoor).
