U.S. Engineering is seeking a Building Trades Journeyman Service Plumber to maintain and repair plumbing systems on-site in Kansas City, MO. The role covers planning maintenance, emergency repairs, and coordination with area owners.

Qualifications

• Current Building Trades Journeyman Plumber status.
• Must possess basic plumbing skills and piping assembly (soldering, brazing etc.).
• Med gas certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains.
• Installs/replaces domestic hot and cold-water lines.
• Repairs/replaces hot water heat pumps, sump pumps, and sewage pumps.
• Installs and repairs backflow prevention devices.
• Leads troubleshooting of steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices.
• Interprets blueprints to plan repairs.
• Responds to plumbing calls as required.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts.
• Coordinate with Area Owners for impacted tasks.
• Provide assistance to team members.
• Obtain quotes and process purchases.
• Communicate and document issues and tasks performed.
