Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Plumber role based in Vernon, CT. The Service Plumber will diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and related equipment in residential and light commercial settings. Daily responsibilities include responding to service calls, performing troubleshooting, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring work complies with local codes and safety standards. The role involves interacting directly with customers, explaining findings and options, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Service Plumber will also complete job documentation, coordinate with the office team, and support continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Plumbing, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs.
• Experience working with Pipe systems, fittings, and fixtures in residential and/or commercial environments.
• Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and preventive Maintenance for plumbing systems and related equipment.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and respect for clients' property.
• Valid plumbing license or apprenticeship status as required by Connecticut regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
