With mastery knowledge of hydronic, domestic water, drainage, medical gas, and related systems, you'll lead complex service calls, mentor junior plumbers, and deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions that ensure reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Our people-first culture recognizes your advanced skills with specialized training, certifications, leadership opportunities, and the fulfillment of keeping critical plumbing infrastructure running efficiently and sustainably nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced service and installation work: fixture replacements, pipe rerouting, leak detection/repair, pressure testing, system flushing, pump/motor servicing, and emergency response.
  • Lead service calls from start to finish: assess on-site issues, communicate clearly with customers on problems/solutions/timelines, coordinate parts/materials, execute repairs, and follow up for satisfaction.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, system inspections, water quality testing, backflow certification support, and efficiency assessments to minimize downtime and extend system life.
  • Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes (IPC/UPC), local regulations, manufacturer specifications, and Modigent safety/quality standards.
  • Document service activities in detail (work orders, reports, photos, as-builts, recommendations) and maintain accurate records for billing, warranty, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to junior plumbers (Levels I–II); demonstrate techniques, share best practices, and promote safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas, vehicles, tools, and PPE; adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Yes – Provides coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior Service Plumbers (Levels I and II); may lead small service crews or coordinate with subcontractors on complex calls, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and customer expectations.

  • Work Environment/Safety: Primarily field-based in commercial/industrial settings (indoor/outdoor, mechanical rooms, rooftops, varying weather); exposure to noise, dust, heights, water, sewage, chemicals, and confined-space hazards; must strictly adhere to OSHA regulations, plumbing codes, conduct hazard identification, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, respirators (as needed), and steel‑toed boots at all times—safety is our top priority and non‑negotiable. This is a safety‑sensitive position. Frequent regional travel within assigned market, on‑call rotations, and flexible hours (including evenings/weekends/emergencies) may be required as business needs dictate.
