Position Summary

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-CALL WHEN SCHEDULED. Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water, waste, vent, and gas piping systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Study and understand building drawings to sequence plumbing installations. Inspect structures to avoid obstructions and prevent weakening of structures during pipe installation. Locate and mark pipe and passage hole positions, cut openings in walls and floors, and assemble/install valves, fittings, and pipes of various materials. Join pipes using appropriate methods, test systems for leaks, and install/repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water closets, water heaters, and more. Install underground water, sewer, and gas lines.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with proficiency in all plumbing phases.
• Positive attitude, excellent attendance, and good teamwork skills.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proper use of safety and personal protective equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of hand tools; digging equipment operation is a plus.
• Medical gas certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The role involves working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, requiring physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
