Job summary

TruGreen in San Antonio is seeking a dispatcher/route planner to create daily and weekly route plans using route analysis software, review plans with the Service Planning Supervisor, and communicate routes to field personnel. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years dispatcher or customer service experience, and strong MS Office skills.

You will work independently within a team in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in service industry is a plus.

Position Overview

Uses route analysis software to create effective and efficient daily and weekly route plans for assigned branch locations. Performs data analysis of plans, resource availability and territory. Maintains geographic codes, addresses and customer information. Reports metrics on a daily basis to Service Planning Supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or (GED) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry
  • 1-2 years of related experience as dispatcher and/or customer service agent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, maintenance instructions, procedural manuals and/or government regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple, repetitive tasks
  • Ability to utilize software to forecast customer demand and route capacity
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and the public
  • Basic knowledge of the company’s branch service department as it relates to resources, territory structure, advanced planning of recurring services and schedule availability for unplanned demand

Pay Ranges

$31,819.00 - $58,865.00 This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
