Job Summary

• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from their place of business within the specified regional area.
• Knowledge of all laws and regulations as they pertain to transporting commercial vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate customers concerns and needs in an honest and professional manner to service advisors.
• Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work with limited supervision.
• Must have flexibility with schedules as some extended work hours may be required depending on the business need.
• Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmissions
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Must have valid CDL driver’s license. Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain. 3 years commercial over the road experience.

Qualifications Must be dependable and reliable. Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Excellent communication both verbal and written, listening skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Must adhere to all DOT regulations.

Job Conditions

Physical Demands Continuous sitting for periods up to 10 hours, in the seat and cab of a tractor (truck) during various weather and driving conditions. Occasional walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling and climbing as necessary.

Environmental Demands This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, including inclement weather. Noise level is mild to moderate, which are normal for outdoor work.

Hours Monday - Friday, 8AM to 430PM Should be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, night and weekends. Position may also be subject to overtime if business needs require it.

Compensation $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, based upon experience.
