Job summary

Magna Steyr is seeking a Service Parts Planner to coordinate planning, movement, and delivery of service parts, supporting customer requirements and SAP transactions. You will work across Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, and Planning to ensure on-time service-part availability.

The role emphasizes inventory management, carrier coordination, and KPI-driven continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, logistics, procurement, warehouse operations, or service-parts management.
• Experience with SAP MM (required/preferred) and SAP WM (preferred).
• Strong understanding of inventory management, material planning, transportation, and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service-parts planning and fulfillment to ensure customer requirements are met through accurate material coordination, inventory management, order processing, and on-time delivery.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison by providing timely updates on order status, material availability, shipments, shortages, and delivery performance while ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Manage SAP transactions and Stock Transport Orders (STOs) by processing material movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring transaction integrity.
• Coordinate transportation and shipment activities including carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, expedited deliveries, and preparation of shipping documentation to support customer commitments.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, and Planning teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure uninterrupted service-part availability.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, reporting, documentation management, process optimization, and proactive identification of material, system, or transportation risks.
