Service Parts Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of service materials delivery operations. Your focus will be on ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to meet customer expectations while optimizing resources and maintaining cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align service materials delivery goals with organizational objectives.

The work model for this role is: onsite

This position contributes to the Electrification Smart Power division in Richmond, VA.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies for service materials planning and fulfillment to ensure timely availability and delivery of customer orders.
  2. Overseeing order management to ensure seamless execution from initiation to completion.
  3. Managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of service materials, and handling escalations.
  4. Promoting collaboration across leadership, divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6 years of distribution experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Proven experience in service parts management, including planning, fulfillment, sourcing, logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is preferred
  • Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US for ABB
