Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell fire products and services to current and new clients. You will build and maintain a network of leads, assess customer needs, demonstrate value, and manage ongoing relationships.

The role emphasizes territory forecasting and detailed activity reporting. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in fire service outside sales, experience selling fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, or kitchen hood service, and strong

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
