Job summary

TRULAND Equipment, a John Deere dealer with 18 locations across Indiana and Ohio, seeks a Service Department leader to optimize operations, quality, and customer satisfaction at our Frankfort, IN location.

You will manage service processes, coach staff, schedule jobs, and monitor performance while maintaining tools and equipment readiness. A strong background in service operations and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a service department; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment is beneficial.
• Experience leading and working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience communicating effectively and interpreting internal reports.
• Must have adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and enforces Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Executes service department marketing plan with direction from corporate leadership.
• Monitors metrics to achieve departmental goals.
• Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to team members.
• Manages repair orders for complete and timely customer billing.
• Ensures all tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
• Oversees recruiting, staffing and employee development activities.
