Job summary

PepsiCo in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a forklift operator to help load, unload, and move cases and pallets throughout the facility. This role requires weekend shifts (Sundays and Fridays), start times around 5 AM or 8 AM depending on day, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

You will use a forklift after training and certification, pick orders with handheld technology, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must work on Sundays and Fridays.
• Able to lift 15–50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Load, move, and prepare products for delivery to keep the supply chain running.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
• Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.
• Safely operate a forklift after we provide training and you obtain certification.
• Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required.
