Service Operations Team Leader DE Mobility Customer Service

Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Service Operations Team Leader to oversee onsite maintenance in Wilmington, DE. You will be the primary contact for issues related to Siemens fleets, focusing on leading the local team, supporting the customer technically and materially, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the local Siemens team.
  2. Ensure technical and material support to the customer.
  3. Provide a positive customer service experience.
  4. Maintain effective communication with all relevant internal and external parties.
  5. Identify opportunities for improvement and address potential risks.
Daily Tasks:
  • Promote a safe work environment and report incidents promptly.
  • Schedule technical support team availability.
  • Coordinate with Amtrak management and maintenance personnel.
  • Mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Support service contract projects, including material orders and technical training.
  • Ensure quality of work at the facility.
  • Collaborate with the customer to improve efficiency.
  • Perform material transactions if needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • At least 5 years in industrial or maintenance environments.
  • Minimum 3 years in customer service.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Rail-related experience, such as rolling stock maintenance, is a plus.
