Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead process architecture initiatives in a hybrid Sacramento environment. You will optimize end-to-end processes, partner with multiple teams, and drive data-driven improvements that elevate member experiences.

This role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, delivering strategic roadmaps, and leading high-impact programs with measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders, document current processes, and apply lean six sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.).
• 8+ years in process improvement, business analysis, and managing projects.

Responsibilities

WHO YOU ARE:

You are a strategic and analytical process improvement professional who excels at translating complex business challenges into practical, data-driven solutions. You leverage process optimization methodologies, strong stakeholder partnerships, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen member experiences, and drive measurable business results across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Serves as a senior subject matter expert providing department wide guidance on process optimization, cross functional alignment, and operational efficiency strategies aligned to strategic objectives.
• Assist in documenting current processes and identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
• Provides strategic recommendations to senior leadership and helps shape long term operational roadmaps.
• Leads high visibility, complex initiatives with material business impact, influencing operational design across multiple departments.
• Builds and maintains professional relationships at various levels throughout the credit union.
• Improve member experiences and service quality through process improvements, automation, or elimination.
• Use tools and methodologies such as process mapping, flowcharts, lean and six sigma methodologies to improve process performance.
• Co-lead the facilitation of workshops and Kaizen events.
• Support development of process measurement models and assist in tracking performance metrics.
• Analyze data and metrics to measure process performance and identify opportunities for enhancement and digitization.
• Assist Servicing Operations to test, implement and document effective business process controls, KPIs, KSPs and KRIs to ensure that all processes are following regulatory requirements and working as intended.
• Monitor industry best practices and assist in benchmarking efforts to support continuous improvement.
• Supports and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement by utilizing subject matter expertise to standardize, consolidate and simplify processes.

QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.). preferred
• 8+ years in process improvement, business analysis, and managing projects. required
