ADB SAFEGATE in Columbus, OH is seeking a Service Operations & Automation Coordinator to drive efficiency through process improvement, automation, and data analytics. You will learn core service coordination tasks while developing AI-enabled solutions using Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, SAP, and other tools.

The role offers exposure to service operations, revenue forecasting, contract renewals, field coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on standardizing

Competenze

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, data analysis, and business technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including developing dashboards and reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other generative AI tools to improve business processes or productivity.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or similar workflow automation technologies.

Service Operations and Automation Coordinator Job Description

The Opportunity....

The Service Operations & Automation Coordinator is a key member of the Service organization, combining day-to-day service coordination responsibilities with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

This individual will learn the core functions of the Service Coordinator role, including service ticket management, invoicing, revenue forecasting, contract renewals, customer support, and coordination of field resources. A significant focus of the position will be identifying and implementing opportunities to make the Service organization more efficient, standardized, data-driven, and automated.

The ideal candidate enjoys learning how processes work, identifying inefficiencies, and using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, SAP, and other AI and automation technologies to develop practical solutions.

This position offers an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of Service operations while helping shape how technology, automation, and AI are used to improve the way the Service organization works.

You will make an impact by....

• Service Coordination & Operations
  • Learn and perform the core responsibilities of the Service Coordinator function.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Service incidents and requests from internal and external customers.
  • Create and manage service tickets for the field service team, helping ensure work is properly documented and labor hours are accurately captured.
  • Support invoicing and billing for completed Service work.
  • Assist with Service revenue forecasting and tracking revenue-impacting activities.
  • Manage and track service contract renewals to support continued revenue and customer retention.
  • Support Service leadership and field teams with reporting, documentation, data management, scheduling, and other operational requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments as needed to support Service operations.
• Process Improvement, AI & Automation
  • Evaluate existing Service processes and identify opportunities to eliminate manual work, reduce duplication, improve data quality, and shorten turnaround times.
  • Develop and maintain AI agents and Copilot-based solutions to streamline activities such as quoting, reporting, knowledge retrieval, and administrative workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive Service processes using Microsoft Power Automate and other approved automation technologies.
  • Develop and improve automated reporting using SAP and other Service data sources, reducing manual data extraction and manipulation.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide Service leadership with greater visibility into key operational and financial information.
  • Develop standardized tools and documentation, including field service trip report templates, customer-facing reports, quoting tools, and internal reporting templates.
  • Work directly with Service team members to identify recurring administrative challenges and translate those needs into practical process or technology solutions.
  • Document improved processes and help drive adoption of new tools and workflows across the Service organization.
  • Track the effectiveness of implemented improvements and continuously look for additional opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies and identify practical applications within the Service organization.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with, or demonstrated aptitude for, process improvement, automation, data analysis, and business technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including developing dashboards and reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other generative AI tools to improve business processes or productivity.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or similar workflow automation technologies preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate an existing process, identify inefficiencies, and develop practical improvements.
• Ability to manage recurring operational responsibilities while simultaneously working on process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
• Ability to work effectively with field personnel, Service leadership, Finance, IT, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
