Position Summary

Production Automation Engineer responsible for developing, coding, and configuring automation projects to increase productivity and efficiency across a variety of IT and departmental applications. The role is based in Omaha, NE with a hybrid work arrangement that requires 50% onsite presence.

This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, and configure automation projects for systems, processes, and reporting to achieve greater operational efficiencies.
• Create and deliver production‑ready reference implementations that can be leveraged easily by teams.
• Establish and maintain secure integration points to enhance operational efficiencies through automation solutions.
• Help endorse and maintain coding best practices, methods, and design patterns that align with company and industry standards.
• Design, create, maintain, and document IT automation opportunities, processes, and reports that align business goals with IT services, while ensuring optimal security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Experience with configuration management, test‑driven development, and release management.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, including Authentication, Authorization, Group, and Role Management.
• Basic understanding of ITIL and related IT operations concepts.
• Experience with development platforms and container deployment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a desire to learn new languages and technologies.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
