Job summary

Hire Velocity is seeking a qualified automotive technician to perform basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light-duty trucks and emergency vehicles. The role requires owning tools and a valid state license, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in accordance with Triple KKK standards.

Responsibilities include servicing mechanical systems, suspensions, drivetrains, and electrical systems; maintaining shop safety and records; and preparing vehicles for service.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, diagnostics and repair.
• Applicants must have their own tools and a valid state license.
• Ensure all work complies with Triple KKK standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment a plus.

• Ensure all work complies with DOT, NFPA, and other regulatory guidelines as required.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow company and industry safety standards.
• Manage and report time on tasks.
• Wash, clean and prep new vehicles for service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in an electrical automotive environment or equivalent experience. Knowledge of basic repair disciplines and have the willingness to learn new systems as they relate to emergency vehicles. Driver's license CDL B with air brake and bus endorsement a plus.
